It is a recorded message, asking if you are going to vote in the next general election in November.
This is supposed to be a phone number related to A Hilton resort deal in Orlando. I was offered a stay for $199.00 and given up to a year to make the trip. Even though I am a Hilton rewards member, I declined to accept due to the fact that I don't like giving my credit card (or debit crd) number over the phone from solicitors. I have given it but only if I call the company. It could be legit but I don't want to take a chance.
Someone from this number is calling me frequently. Knock it off or I am turning it over to the law.
They're good-really good. I admit I was immediately convinced and in disbelief. But when the towel head I was speaking with said I would be served a subpoena and hung up on me, I began to have doubts. When I called back a second time and different dot head again hung up on me, I knew I was being scammed. I googled the # and confirmed the scam
This is NOT spam. It is Stevens Henager College. They only call a customer when requested.

Just searched again and found a listing in the Delaware white pages for that name at that address -- the home phone number for that caller is: 302-832-3430, listed publicly. Apparently, the number used for calling me is not the home phone, but may be a cell phone used strictly for that purpose (whatever the reasons for the call which can't be known when a person won't talk or leave a message.
She calls at least once every day. I searched out her number on the internet yesterday and discovered the name and other information above in two places. Another bit of info that I discovered was an advertisement offering for sale (under that telephone number)a BMW with this same number and this same name and info. Still don't know why she would call me, but it was probably a sales call. I don't feel like calling back to see what it is about, so yesterday I recorded in the telephone, her name and other info, and today when the call came up again with that info (not on the physical end-phone but on the internet phone number call forwarding service, I blocked further calls from that number. When she begins to call again from another number, I will record such here.

Got a call from a Melinda Ryan. Rude as hell. Will not let you talk or ask the legally appropriate questions as to whom they are representing and their contact information. You can't even request to get the verification of debt letter. She talked over me stating since I was being uncooperative she was sending up to Lee County, AL. She said she was writing a recommendation to an attorney. She asked if I had an attorney. Whatever. Bring it on. I am not sure who the collection agency really is but she quickly said something which sounded like Asset Management Inc.I can't find them on the internet anywhere. If you have information on this please share.

When I say 'well go ahead and do it you have my permission', then mysteriously (to me) he says 'well it is not that simple'. So I hung up.

This is a VERY dangerous scam pretending to be the IRS. They threaten to have you arrested if your back taxes are not paid right there on the phones, very high pressure. Of course the red flag for me was the fact that I don't have any back taxes. They all spoke with an Indian or Middle Eastern accent and they were very rude.
