I received a call from someone named "George" saying he was from U.S. Immigration service in San Francisco. I had gone on a web site earlier today called American Immigration.com. It looked very official and you had to sign up in order to visit site - email address, phone number, and so on. Then it asked for a credit card. That stopped me. Number one - the site was .com and not .gov., number two - I knew the price of what we needed was $345 and they were only charging $170. When this "George" called, he started asking too many questions and secondly, wasn't U.S. Immigrations busy anymore? I called back this number and "George" answered without identifying himself as an agent for Immigration. I need to report the web site but don't know who to. Will keep on trying. Don't be taken in by this. I called the real USCIS and they said that the site was bogus.
