Who Called Me From 716-650-5211?
Left voicemail saying they are from county and will take legal action if i don't pay some past due payday loan acct???
Either this is a trunk main line for a legitimate collection agency (At least registered somewhere) or it is a pure call file logger who is a freelance collector trying to get a percentage of debt that is either written off by the client or past collections age by the government. (7 years for medical).
They called and left a message stating that his name was Steven Colby from Sea Ray Services offering his services to resolve an open issue in an action with regards to collections taking place in Harris County next week. If I would be kind enough to call him back anytime day or night, he is authorized to settle for a very realistic fraction of my owed debt and negate the client and county proceeding with civil and possible criminal action.
Which of the over a dozen Harris County is this court action taking place? Don't have one in my state.
If I did have a debt owed that fell outside the legal terms for collection why would I present a stranger with any information. (Remember that most credit card or rotational float accounts are written off somewhere between 5 and 7 years after final collection attempts, while medical will remain if action stops or not after 7 years.) - Neat how that works since it takes 7 years for a bankruptcy to come off your credit report. (Sounds like they all are in on it or at least bad creditors know their limitations even when their actions or appointee's actions are less than their standard.)
You can get rich to! Make lots of money collecting between 2% - 40% on any debt owed a creditor within the legal guidelines (timelines) that the creditor has either written off or is no longer pursuing action to be made whole. There are free lists of every citizen in the book. Even the credit unions in your town would be happy to get your help collecting bad debt. The Chamber of Commerce for in smaller towns generate over 1/2 of their annual expendable revenue from third party collections.
IF THEY CALL TELL THEM TO TAKE YOU OFF THEIR LIST. YOU ARE NOT THE PERSON THEY ARE ASKING ABOUT AND THE FCC REGULATION FOLLOWS AND ACTIVELY ENFORCES MY "your" LEGAL RIGHT TO NOT BE HARRASSED. THIS CALL HAS BEEN NOTED AND IF I AM NOT REMOVED FROM YOUR CALL LIST WITHIN 72 OR RECEIVE MORE THAN 2 MORE CALLS FROM THIS MAIN CALL NUMBER/TRUNK I WILL KINDLY REPORT EACH INDCIDENT WHICH COMES WITH A $75,000.00 FINE/PER.
(Personally I would add that I "you" would be the one calling on that co
Today I just received a call from these people saying there's a claim I have to settle? I don't have any claims, I'm just a full-time college student that works two jobs. Don't own anything other than my cellphone, which is paid two weeks in advance every month. Also said my claim was in Orange County, I don't even live in Orange County, I live in New Jersey and there is no Orange County in New Jersey (from what I'm aware, even looked it up). Can't stand scammers.
Yve: My husband too! We don't know what happend and we don't have any claims, bad credits or debt even! These calls really push people feeling annoying! 5 years ago

Hang up. Scammers. Call the FTC and AG in your area. They'll collect on illegal loans and debt that was already settled. CFPB said to hang up if they don't provide a professional license which they won't,,
Called this morning and left a voice mail. She said her name was Clare Higgins and I have two claims against me in Simona County (which I don't live in). She said she is with the legal department of Searay Services and either me or my attorney needs to get back to her ASAP and she gave me a claim numbee. I don't have any claims against me and I pay all my bills. I'm glad I looked them up and came to this site. How troubling to get a call like this. Shame on these people.

They have been calling my parent's cell numbers (which I am the account holder of) telling them I have a pending lawsuit in Pierce County, they have also called my work. I am thankful I checked them out and was able to notify HR that it's a scam. The guy had a huge yelling argument with my dad who lives out of state and we are trying to figure out how to get them to stop calling. I'm also currious how the cell numbers were obtained because I don't give them out at all. I'm worried they have gotten access to my cell carrier. I'm also getting spam emails with similar info that give case numbers but when I check them locally they don't exist.
I had to have relatives block their numbers. It stopped everything. Pleas turn them into the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. These are not licsensed collectors and are not following the law. They are scammers.
THEY DID NOT LEAVE A NAME BUT THREATING ME WITH A LAW SUIT AND JAIL TIME. THEY SAID THEY WERE SENDING SOMEONE TO MY HOME AND SOMEONE OVER 18 YRS OF AGE NEEDS TO BE THERE.THEY ARE SCAMMERS.
You can file a complaint with the consumer financial protection bureau. These people are not legitimate collectors. If the bureau gets enough complaints it may put a stop to this. I had an attorney look into this company and he said they are scammers. Block all their calls and advise relatives to do the same. You can file at www.consumerfinance.gov
They are also now going by a new name.
