Got a call at work from a guy with an indian accent when I asked his name he never gave it. When I asked him to send me info he said no, and is sending to his lawyer. So when I called back the number was d/c. I reported it to my attorney general office in Indiana and they said that it was a scam artist.

Call went to voicemail at home number in the afternoon, male with accent said he was Alex from the Legal Action Department. Required us to call him back immediately at 727-302-1145. Obvious scam, didn't return call. Another call just like it went to voicemail about 6 p.m. but caller just left the connection open with background chatter and didn't leave a message.
Said name is Kevin from the department of the us treasurery. Said I was being sued by the irs. Did not have my employers name. Did not have my street address but was going to serve me with arrest warrent. When I asked again what the warrent was for he hung up. Indian accent. Scam
Have received several calls in past week from different caller and using different numbers, but this number was among the ones used. It is definitely a scam. If there was a tax issue I am sure the I.R.S. would be the Department trying to contact you and initial contact for those types of issues is typically by mail. My wife called back and they tried to get her SS# from her...when she challenged them they hung up. Don't fall for it!

I got an unusual phone call from a man with an Indian accent asking for someone, when I told him he had the wrong number he said " Do you have a cell phone?" When I said yes he told me to "put your cell phone in your left hand and take your right hand and stick it up you a**hole." What a Guy!
received call from man with what sounded like Indian accent asking for me by my maiden name. He was claiming he was from US Department of Treasury Legal Department and a case had been filed against my name and wanted me to call Danny Archer at 727-302-1145 (oddly enough that was the number HE was calling from!). I asked him for the case number and he did not have it. When I asked him why I had not been properly served he said that I had to talk to the officer Danny Archer to find out. He told me that his name was Jack Watson. I asked him what state he was calling from and he said '10350'. When I pressed for what state he was calling from he hung up on me. It is very unnerving to get a call like that scaring people about a case filed from US Treasury department. People are horrible sometimes.
