This company claims they are only an answering service for a company that has taken more than $50 from my bank account. Each time they remove money from the account I call the number that is listed on my bank statement as the number to the company removing the funds. When I place that call they answer as "adult services" when I explain why I'm calling they say they will take a message and someone will contact me within 72 hours. This has been going on for 3 weeks and I have placed 2 calls per week, yet still I have never received a call regarding this nor has any of the money be refunded to my account. I have tried refusing to hang up until I speak to someone higher than them and they always say the same thing in response "I will send a message and they will contact you within 72 hours" this last time I told her that I was not going to hang up until I speak with her supervisor and she hung up on me. My last option is to have a new card reissued but that will then leave me without access to my money for 7-10 days. Ugh!

This idiot called my wife, asked for her by name. When I asked who was calling he said he was from MS and he needed to check her computer. It looked like it was being hacked. Being a police officer I asked him for his current address. He told me to go to hell. I hung up.

This guy sounds like he's from India said he's from Microsoft. He said I had been hacked and showed me on my computer a bunch of errors he wanted $230to fix I said I'd throw in trash before I paid that then he said supervisor says $120 I said no he said that he had to turn off computer because hackers did something to wifi and it would infect all my computers and phone. I told him go ahead and he called back and said they were slow and supervisor said he could fix between calls.. I watched my computer as he did some stuff he didn't get into anything dife difeant. Does this sound legit he called and wants to check again make sure ts ok. Not sure if I should. Is it a scam? Nothing on it that I worry about haven't even used in 5 years.

I was signing up on Google when I received a pop up stating an error code and warning that my computer was blocked due to a virus or invasion. I called this number and a person who answered stated he was a support tech with cortetweb.com. He advised me to press windows and R and gave me the following address to type in: ISupport@Cortetweb.com, in order to fix my problem. He said there were hackers working to retrieve info on my computer including facebook; bank information; emails; and files, etc. When I entered the next step was to give them access to my computer. I ultimately declined and hung up. However, I still have the block on Google (this was when I was trying to sign into gmail).
