This number called me today, it was a recording and they knew my name. Here's where it gets good though:
Just last week the same exact call came to my phone, but with a Columbus, Ohio area code/number. The real person speaking on the recording was the same lady as the call today except that they wanted a completely different person.
When I called them back to explain I'm not the person they were looking for. The guy wanted my phone number and I explained that wouldn't be happening and the dude went berserk on me. I obliged and went berserk back. He tried to scam me, which I don't take lightly, and said things to him that no person should have said to them.
Immediately after hanging up with him, a number from my area code called like 5 times in a row - never leaving a voice mail.
Don't worry, don't be scared. If they're going to sue you, you don't give up any rights. If you're being sued, you have absolute rights to defend yourself.
