Except for a handful of occasions when a pre-recorded message was left on my answering machine, these were all hang up calls on my answering machine. The pre-recorded message indicating that Harbor Funds was calling to inform me that it had not received instructions from me as to how to vote my shares. I was asked to call another number and vote those shares so that the company would have a quorum at its meeting.

HOWEVER- I don’t own Harbor Funds and never have. Additionally, the Harbor Funds Web Site notes that “A special meeting of the shareholders of each fund of Harbor Funds was held on June 25, 2013” and, as anyone can see, I continued to get these hang up calls AFTER the meeting.

A lady called saying they were LHR, I asked what did that stand for she refused to tell me and refused to tell me what sort of business Lhr is conducting. I told her not to call anymore she said they will keep calling if they want to, I told her I would file a complaint with the Fcc and BBB she said go ahead, I will still keep calling. She then hung up.

They have been calling twice daily for about a month. The number called 4 times today and I finally answered and then they hung up on me. I called them and told the woman they needed to stop calling me and she said they couldn't do that. I don't know who they are or why they are harassing me but I told them I'd just call the police next time.

I did not answer the phone, but they left a message. I could not understand it but he said the word telemarketer several times. Sounds like they are trying to get Social Security Number, etc.

Caller states he was coming too my home to serve me Court papers, Needed to know if I would be home in the next two hours. With my ID. He was coming to get my signature. But I needed to be home with my ID. It's been more than 2 hours and no one is here. As of yet.

I just tried to call the number back and it has a busy tone. like invalid number tone.

I believe it is a scam. Other's beware.

I just received a phone call from this phone number today. A woman left me a voicemail saying, "Hi. This message is for Paul ******** (she mispronounced my last name). This is Danielle calling from HRS. You can give me a call back at 800-337-4359. You can reference your file number, which is *******. I'm open Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Pacific Standard Time. Thank you."

At first, I thought this was a call about an employment opportunity, because HRS is also the name of a hotel company, and I have applied for many hotel jobs. Skeptical, I decided to Google the phone number, as well as the name, HRS. HRS are the initials of many different companies, so I got nowhere with that search. However, this phone number doesn't appear to be affiliated with any hotel company, and the only results I get about this phone number are saying that this is a debt collector, which makes more sense.

I am in debt to several different companies, but mainly I am in debt to hospitals for unpaid medical bills which are way too expensive for me to ever afford in this lifetime. "HRS" is also the initials of "Healthcare Reimbursement Specialists", which are debt collectors for medical bills. I called the number back, and it goes to straight to an automated message which says, "Thank you for calling HRS. Your call may be recorded for quality purposes. This is an attempt to collect a debt. Any information obtained will be used regarding that purpose. Please stay on the line, and your call will be answered in the order it was received." That's when I hung up. I can't afford any more bills right now.

I keep getting calls from this number but no one ever leaves a message. I make a point of not answering unknown calls. I am not late on any bills so it can't be a bill collector. This same number pops up with different caller ID info. Some times it shows "Michael", other times "Chris" and the latest showed "local call". These people are annoying as heck.

These people keep calling me with a recording saying that they cannot speak with me unless I call them back. I called and they asked for my social security number or account number for my citibank student loan. I informed them that I was aware it was a scam and she just said, "Okay, thank you." and hung up. The phone connection was sketchy as if it was being recorded.

Called the number back and first thing it says is: "Thank-you for calling back, if you would like to be removed from our special products call list, please press 1." So, of course I did and it then said "Thank-you for your time, please allow for up to 72 hours for removal to be completed" and then the phone cut off immediately after.

I don't know if they're solicitors or a last resort collection agency, but I receive at least 3-4 calls a day.... and unique to this particular company is there technique of call several times in a row. Whether I sent the call to v-mail or just ignore it all together, they phone will immediately start ringing again. Three times in a row on some occasions. The thing is, I know I have a little outstanding debt, but they couldn't even tell where the account originated or how they arrived at the ridiculous total they were asking for. Refused to send anything via mail. For all I know it was a con/scam artist using my credit history to scare me into sending a random stranger money. These agencies REALLY need to rethink there tactics!

(800) 524-5533 called me today and was an agent representative for NorthAmerican Van Lines. The call was legit, since I submitted a request online a few minutes before the call came in for a free moving quote. The rep was very nice, and helpful in getting a quote for our move to FL.
