I called back, when they answered, the first thing they said was "Did you receive a missed call from this number." Not, "Thank you for calling X-Company, this is ____, how may I assist/direct your call?" They were calling about an extended warranty I cancelled 1.5 years ago as the vehicle I drove was totalled from an accident. I asked how they got the information on my vehicle, the guy said that when the dealership sold me an extened warranty, that they shopped it through them... I cancelled the policy at the same exact car dealership, wouldn't it make sense that the seller would have the cancelled policy in their records??? They were sloppy with their information collection as well as the call transfer to their 'finance' department. They didn't give very clear answers and justed wanted more and more information. They were polite, spoke quickly and wanted any/all info I was willing to give.
Don't give any information to these guys.
